Ryoko Kui x Dungeon Meshi exhibition today! Really enjoyed it. Has drafts of cover art, interview with Ryoko Kui about her process, exhibits you can interact with, fun stamp stations, and all the recipes + mock up of the monster dishes!
(The themed cafe was, like most themed cafe, just okay.
Edited to add: actually, less than okay. Everything was too ordinary. Where's the adventure?!)

Second edit: somehow I accidentally deleted the images and I forgot what I posted earlier, so perhaps these are a slightly different set of images
@geraineon @villainousfriend i am told switzerland just had a set of stamp stations! ….admittedly as a promotional thing for a chinese media property (quanzhi gaoshou) but maybe the tourism board will remember it for next time
@geraineon @villainousfriend Zurich was where Glory Worlds was held in the novel, so they did an event for the dates it would have been happening! i dont think it was super large or well promoted — i didn’t hear about it until like RIGHT before it was happening
here are some pics from a friend who went, i’ll try and see if i can find any kind of official announcement: https://syncogon.tumblr.com/post/790560863604129792/switzerland-travel-blog-except-oops-its-all-tka
@villainousfriend @geraineon well, it seems most news articles have even less info than that post but you can appreciate Ye Xiu beholding a mountain at least: https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202405/1313245.shtml
@Satsuma @geraineon ohhhhhh this is so cool! I haven’t even read the novel or watched the donghua, but still! I’m really glad your friend had a good time visiting here and came at the right time.
This part in the Global Times article is so funny, too.
@Satsuma @geraineon whaaaaat. Do you have a link about that at all? I had no idea Quanzhi Gaoshou was even being promoted here tbh
