@platypus What boggles my mind is that it is dealing with a relatively simple fixed menu of options. Even if you want to remove the human element in that, you don't need an "AI" for that. Voice agents like Siri and Alexa were handling tasks like this with more complexity 15 years ago

@platypus @fskornia so much of AI seems to be “what if we did things computers already can do but in a more computationally expensive and also worse way” which is just baffling to me
