@imp the house we just moved into has several sheets of leftover drywall in the basement so perhaps this is just how its done?
(the flooring guys also left the flooring we paid for that wasnt used but i appreciated that one seeing as it’d be difficult and expensive to get a match if we ever needed repairs)
@Satsuma aww that was nice of them! and yeah my main thing is the drywall guys definitely know that shit literally won't fit in our basement (bc they did work down there) so i'm kind of like...gerald....come back and get your drywall or i'm deducting haul cost from the final bill
@Satsuma (but the other thing is this is a company that mostly does residentials in the flipping context and is otherwise used by general contractors, so i'm trying to be go-with-the-flow about a process that doesn't usually include a homeowner just hanging out like 🕴️ hi 🕴️ )
@imp@federatedfandom.net @Satsuma@glitch.cat.family somewhat unrelated but I do like the implication of this post that you hang around in your home flanked by your ska band…
