once again confronted by my As You Like It Problem, which is that it seems so clear to me that 80% of Rosalind's dialogue is trolling and no director has ever agreed with me

@Satsuma I HAVE SO MANY OPINIONS ABOUT HOW I WOULD DIRECT AS YOU LIKE IT. in addition to my really strong Rosalind Vision, I would implement the following changes for sure?
a.) cross-cast oliver (i stole this from a friend but she's right; it gives oliver at least some reason for the Attempted Murder if she's an oldest daughter who's about to watch everything she's worked for get handed off to her baby brother, and also means that celia gets to stay a lesbian)
b.) you have Got to play phebe as kind of in love with silvius already and in denial about it the whole time
c.) when rosalind comes out in Wedding Attire at the end it's a DANG SUIT
d.) right before a rando comes on to announce that the evil duke has had a mysterious change of heart and is going into a monastery forever, we get a little pantomime of someone (maybe Adam? he kind of disappears in the back half and it'd give him something to do) just whacking the evil duke over the head with a 2x4 and shoving him in the river
