From the bus stop, to get home I have to cross the road just after cars exit the roundabout, and ever since I read this story https://www.mylondon.news/news/transport/britains-most-woke-2m-roundabout-31744635 which contains a driver saying "I don't like the idea of braking when exiting the roundabout to give way to pedestrians," that's what I think of now as I have to do this.
And on this one there's no traffic lights for anybody, so there's really even less reason for them to brake for pedestrians as they exit the roundabout...
@bright_helpings yeah i’ve seen arguments that roundabouts improve safety for pedestrians but “the cars literally never have to come to a full stop unless there’s a pedestrian” certainly doesn’t *feel* safe when i’m crossing them
