Zoom is — maybe down?

We have library faculty org meeting at 10?

Well that’s going to be interesting. We’ll see!

(We can’t physically meet in person, we are all over PA)

Zoom is back but … looking forward to spending the next hour trying to get my work laptop to connect to the internet because PSU’s central IT are like “we’re gonna do EDUROAM, it’ll be so efficient” but I’m not allowed to move to it yet AND my computer won’t talk to the WiFi AND for some reason my wired connection isn’t working?

ok well, I got on the guest wifi and then connected via GlobalProtect. ✨ efficiency ✨

I swear I have more trouble using my work laptop at work than I do in my office at home.

Ok, enough grousing. I'm grumpy and crampy but today could be fine.

@platypus wait they're putting literally everybody on eduroam?

doesn't that fuck with IP-address authorization for library stuff?

Follow

@dsalo @platypus we’ve been exclusively on eduroam for a while (probably a decade?) and no issues with library IP authorization as an end user
