do you know the term "spud puppies"? i encountered it for the first time recently and i wonder if it's a particular regional term or if it's marketing.

@rabbithearth spuds are potatoes in our dialect and i am also familiar with fried cornmeal balls being called hushpuppies, so i would assume it was a similar dish but made with potato instead of corn? but i’ve never actually heard it used that i can recall
