@villainousfriend i'm gunning for 'male lead's obligatory second concubine that he doesn't care about much who starts out as a bored minor villain scheming for position/attention until the heroine finds out that she can do accounts, gets her onside, and sets her to happily doing useful word problems in the background for the rest of the drama while the main love story progresses'
@ryfulets @villainousfriend I'll take trusted personal servant to a minor palace official, not a prominent role in the show but it's teased that I might be crossdressing as a man to have this position. fans cannot agree about what my gender is, or what my relationship is with my lord, but I'm a minor enough role that no real fights break out in the fandom about it

possibly i help run the inn outside the capitol proper that the main characters improbably end up staying at every time they have to leave the city for plot reasons. Eventually it’s revealed that I’m one of the many people who’s been recruited to the courts information network, which is run by a eunuch who is excessively loyal to the xth prince, our dramas hero because during one such stay I pass on a key message necessary to avert an assassination attempt on said prince
