There are so many spaces in this house that make no sense but the garage is the most baffling. They've since taken the photo off the listing but you can see from the floor plan that the garage has many doors, leading to nothing.

@weirdestate looking at the floorplan pic i *think* what happened is that they wanted to put closets in on their garage but then discovered that the kind of sliding wide entry doors one typically uses to make shallow but wide closets accessible are against fire code for garages
also, i keep looking between that pic and this desperately trying to figure out if there are any visual cues as to which of these doors leads to the hall instead of Yet Another Closet

@paris glad it was helpful! somewhat serendipitously, i just got a home inspection done where they told me the interior garage door wasn’t up to fire code and we should replace it so those types of issues were already on the top of my mind when i saw the post :)
