someone in the MotW game mentioned dowsing (specifically, seeing if they could dowse for where the monsters are crossing into their world); I was like, "yes, of course, that's a thing in this setting!" and then it reminded me about how my dad dowses.

@Satsuma used to be about 95% accurate, then they installed a bunch of fiberoptics cables in his front yard and he hasn't been able to successfully dowse for them. He's *peeved*.
