i'm starting to think blood bank phlebotomists just tell everybody they have great veins and i'm not really special
like do you know anyone who regularly gives blood who isn't under the impression that they have exceptional veins

@tripofmice last time i had to get an iv put in it took them three different people and having to switch arms bc they’d fucked up their first location with the sheer number of failed attempts. Apparently my veins are thin, deep, and have a tendency to “roll” all of which preclude easily sticking a needle in them
