Dinner last night was carrot tarte tatin. The (highly recommended) Riverford gave us the idea a while back and we've riffed on it for months.
Last night's version was more basic than theirs, since I didn't want to go out in the cold and dark garden to try find thyme. Also we usually use about 1/2 the carrots and onions. On the other hand, I did go overboard with homemade feta in place of goat's cheese. So that was nice.
