part of the setting at this particular juncture in time is about how the Math Department voted to remove itself from the College of Natural Sciences, but has yet to be accepted by any other College.
...so there are of course asides about that, as well.

@titania i love that they somehow also got sent to ag. Why is ag always the refuge of lost math students??
@Satsuma I have NO IDEA but at least ag is there to take them in???
@Satsuma no, but this was directly inspired by the fact that a friend of mine had to do a PhD through the ag department because what they were doing a PhD in (applied mathematics...) wasn't considered pure math enough for the math department, so I am not at all surprised 😂
