like, are sunday’s to the reader just a day off of work, or a religious celebration, or a day of prayer and religious contemplation with prohibitions against doing “fun” stuff…
@Satsuma I'm sort of surprised neither of you are familiar with it! No, there's no religious attachments; it's frequently used as "not in a month of Sundays", meaning "not in a very long time" or "never". Since Sunday only comes once a week, a month of them would mean ~30 weeks or over half a year. Hyperbolic, and I'm more used to seeing it in British English, but it's not a particularly rare saying. @greyor
