@yesbait windows here mostly slide up and down rather than swinging in or out — i’m pretty sure all the ones i’ve seen that do swing opened out but that being the “right” way is a pretty weak opinion? (opening out is nice though because then it doesn’t get in the way of the screen)
@Satsuma my main issue with the British way of doing things (sash window or opening to the outside) is that there is no way to clean them from the inside, and I have to hire somebody with a huge ladder or other tools to do this.
