I really wanted the impact of this DARK black buttefly, and oh boy, I tried a bunch of things before cutting it out of a mailer and some origami paper, and I think I have cramps in brand new tendons because this was a sticky glue-y mess. But I think I got across the goth black-velvet painting-ness of it, even if the markings aren't correct, really.
I'm proud of everything *except* printing out the text feels like a cheat, but I wanted so much text on it, and I'm so bad at printing small. The font is elegant typewriter from here; https://www.typewriterfonts.net/
@Betty i dont think its cheating to use printed text! pretty much all of the zines i’ve collected have a substantial portion of text that is either printed or typewritten — there are benefits to handwriting, esp when trying to make very fast/casual zines but there are definitely many benefits to typing also
