covid :grr:

Please don't call your weirdly intense out-of-season illness "not covid" if it's new and you haven't done a PCR test. If you used a rapid test or two at home and it was negative that's a good start, but if you're actually doing a proper serial testing protocol it's not yet meaningful as a guide and you should be isolating until the process is completed. Don't run around potentially contagious like an ass. Don't ignore other cues. Shakiness, fever, aches, etc., all bad signs!

You KNOW we didn't all used to get nasty drag-out achy coughing sore lymph node illnesses at the height of summer. You REMEMBER how rare it was for most of us to feel properly ill for more than a few days in a row. Use your melty brain to dredge up some common sense and get a cold compress and order Thai or something and go to bed.
