@FandomChats @roland oof yeah i have flat stopped reading things tagged “modern au” (or coffee shop au or whatever) unless they specifically name a location in their tags or summary bc i’m so tired of these
@Satsuma @FandomChats @roland Placeless, USA ( though quite frequently I think the author is trying to set there fic somewhere else but has no clue that eg liberal arts colleges are not a thing everywhere)
