It so is!

Also it's a place free of weather and mud that's a second safe spot for Rocky, with room to run around and now things to take care of. (Rocky ... isn't necessarily mortal, though perhaps not as immortal as Peia.) Rocky will need to know about (falling into) the Strange, though, if its entrances can intersect any of the dragon tunnels, and should probably be introduced to at least the kobolds.

For that matter, Rocky understands being stuck someplace unable to do anything for a long time, too.

... but does he understand that other creatures can be manipulative or otherwise unkind? Can/will he defend himself from that?

@Satsuma @rowyn
Peia is a demon, brought into being and trained/raised by a rather nasty demon. Before she was imprisoned, manipulating people was her job and/or entertainment.

While I currently think of her as having been raised in a cult under the thumb of a powerful & controlling leader, now slowly learning that there are other ways to be & that she can have her own opinions, she hasn't had much chance to practice anything else.

She thought Rocky was a present, not a person, at first.

@Satsuma @rowyn
Cassie is a strong-willed person, who has been manipulated in the past, and can recognize that and say no, and defend that no.

Rocky so far has gone along with what Cassie and Gren have asked of it, and they've been fascinated by it and wanting it to be safe&cared for. Rocky has also initiated its own projects, so it is not without its own wants&opinions, but does it understand malice and have the ability to say no, or would wanting to help win?
