you know that twitter screenshot that gets laughed at a lot with the person asking "what would your job be on the commune" and everyone replying they'd be some kind of artist/knowledge worker? never understood those people, if i were sure i could survive on it and retire once my body can't take it anymore i'd 100% choose to do agricultural work of some sort.

@hex my body can already only take agricultural work in doses small enough to maybe not be worth the trouble of training me in most tasks but if I could go weed a kitchen garden for an hour or two a couple times a week as one of my duties to the collective and then spend the rest of my job hours cooking or mending or whatever that’d be pretty choice
