Anybody know of a good book about the collection of human remains by museums and educational institutions? About the history of it, how they came by the remains, and later repatriation movements?

@lirazel not off the top of my head but i can ask my prof on tuesday! (i suspect she will say “unfortunately most museums are a mess rn about this and so there is not”)

@lirazel you might also find “the whole picture” by Alice Procter helpful—it’s a bit of a broader topic but it mentions both remains and repatriation on the back cover blurb (its on my tbr right now)

@Satsuma I’ve read that one! It’s good! But not as focused on the topic.

@lirazel oh nice! And yeah it’s a much broader discussion but I thought if you couldnt find anything else it’d at least be something

Will let you know if the prof has any good recs!
