Me to Joh: Imagine if I did all my preliminary edits this week
Joh: I mean, wouldn't that be putting a lot of undue pressure on yourself?
Me: No! No pressure! I just mean it would be great if I did.
Joh: Cool.
Me: AND I AM GOING TO DO IT! AND YOU WILL EAT YOUR WORDS.
Joh: Sounds very low-pressure.
I don't know why I'm like this. If other people set deadlines for me I either freak out or rebel. If I set deadlines for myself, I get...like this.
When I hit the halfway mark on the edits I goblin danced at Joh and mimed eating the words 
and like I'm ashamed but I will definitely do it again if I finish this week
