it's so funny looking at that blog McMansion hell because some of the things they take offence at are totally normal in Europe, like "wood-paneled" or "overly matching" (aka, integrated) kitchen appliances. A lot of kitchens in Europe have a fridge or dishwasher that looks like normal cabinetry from the outside lol it's really nbd
@being *squints* where do you put the drying rack
@Satsuma 😩 this is not a nice kitchen. It is a studio apartment kitchen and the answer is "where you can)
(I have almost exactly this kitchen layout cutrently, but I have a washing machine opposite it (there is only 70cm aisle space) and that's where I put my drying rack..v. Behind the air fryer)
@being my kitchen is about that exact size/layout, but the location of the stove & sink are swapped and the sink is narrower so theres juuuust enough space to squeeze a drying rack between it in the fridge (and then have like one cutting board’s worth of counter between the sink and the stove
@Satsuma haa mine are also swapped! Twinsies! But I use that space for knves and cutting boards
@being kitchen twinsies!!!
knives and cutting boards are def both also important things to make a kitchen functional! I’ve got a magnet strip on the side of the fridge for the knives—tho I guess that might not work if yours has been encabneted? Never really had to think about that potential issue before haha
@Satsuma you hit the nail on the head 😮💨I can't stick anything to that dang fridge. I even tried taping a picture of my friend's baby and it fell off the next day lol
@being oh noooo that puts *such* a damper on things! Everyone should get to put pictures of the friend’s baby up on the fridge!
