Articles that suggest that the "Threads team is trying to handle a thoughtful, gradual rollout for federation" make me giggle uneasily. Why do we keep giving Meta the benefit of the doubt. Why?!

@pixelcats there are LOTS of individual good people working at meta, sometimes even entire teams of them, and not once has it ever actually mattered

@Satsuma This. I know some ex-facey employees who are lovely humans. And yet .. the evidence over years is clear. Why would we expect this to be any different? 🙄
