damn I love Richard II. It's such a weird play and SO funny. Richard is such a bad king and has no idea!! everyone in this play is a high-key drama queen and they're all at each other's throats about it. except richard who thinks he can just decide people should chill out and then they will.
anyway zeatre (zoom theatre) lives on, forever my joy, cannot wait till we do the second half of richard ii next week!
@Satsuma back in 2020 when covid meant in-person gatherings just weren't happening, some folks I know organized a group of us to get together to do play readings over zoom together on a regular basis! we all had so much fun that we're still doing it every month or two, and it's the best. just a bunch of queer nerds being enthusiastic about theatre together! chewing the scenery and turning every character gay that we possibly can.
