I was clearing out a pantry in #ThisOldClownHouse and found this hidden treasure beneath a Styrofoam block behind a trash can. It would appear that mysteries are piped in fresh from the basement.
Liam's planning on some spelunking down there later, to determine if we're more likely to flood or blow up the building by removing it.
Mystery pipe update:
Liam ran the pipes in the crawlspace while I shined a light down the hole in the floor. Turns out the pipe wasn't attached to anything, and it lifted out cleanly!
I'm still glad I didn't try before we checked.
BTW: I may have jumped out of my skin when Liam moved the pipe from underneath the concrete floor and shouted, "Pull me!"
No idea of the pipe's original purpose, beyond plugging the hole...which it's back to doing until we can patch the floor.
