Covid19 and being sick
#COVID19 I try not to complain too much here about my workplace and surroundings acting like Covid is done and over.
BUT
Several colleagues are hella sick, took 0 measures not to spread, came in my office unmasked *just to tell me they are sick*.
And now I have Covid. Again.
Covid19 and being sick
Wife is positive too but has no symptoms as of yet. I was crying-passed-out sick AF for a day, and have upgraded to Feeling Like Exhausted Shit today. Just enough energy to be very angry and soul-tired about all of it. This spread is avoidable. We just need people to give a damn.
Also, fuck my colleagues who didn't even bother to pretend to care about other people's health.
Covid19 and being sick
Updates: thank you guys!!
I was out for a couple days, and am getting better. I lost my sense of smell for several days though it came back yesterday.
I keep feeling like I am "fine" when sitting down and clicking around on the Internet, but then I get up to make pancakes, or use the bathroom, or attend a meeting, and I am NOT FINE and need to leave and sit or lie down. It is frustrating. Gotta remember it's only been days even tho it feels like longer.

@MoonRaccoon i’m glad you’re starting to feel better! the feel fine as long as you don’t do anything period is always so frustrating to me also, but fortunately its usually pretty short
Covid19 and being sick
@MoonRaccoon yeah somehow being patient with oneself is so much harder than doing the same for everyone else—brains are difficult sometimes 🫂
