I tried making paint the other day with flour as a binder, but it didn't really work very well. Today I tried corn starch and that worked a lot better. Which means I've now got functioning paint made from beet juice.

@Satsuma I didn't add very much pigment (1 teaspoon of beet juice vs 3 teaspoons of cornstarch and an arbitrary amount of water), so it's not especially strong, but it's very pretty.
