@celli @asya LOL, I can't believe I forgot abt Dreamwidth (for which I got a seed account all the way back when the site was launched.) I... try (?) to be moderately active over there, but there's a certain vibe (v. pro-Western fandoms and 'omg, I miss the golden era of fandom (when ppl were on LJ) nostalgia) that does raises my hackles every so often. (Let me not expand on this cuz it too dang early in the day to start ranting, LOLsob.)
Somehow, I didn't count Discord (though it's where I move around the most? Both in DMs as well as a few small servers. Huh.
@Glittery @celli@octodon.social @asya lol yes i am on discord also, but if you asked me how many social media sites i am on, i’d definitely say two (here and dreamwidth) it’s v firmly in the “chat/text app” category in my head haha
i got lucky that when i first joined DW it was through cdrama fandom which is a bit less “good old days”-y than the rest of the site. Don’t know what i’d do otherwise bc i’m way too old to be figuring out all these new places spinning up 😆
