@imp @villainousfriend she's pretty young, probably 30 based on grad class, how much do you want to bet she mainly wants to have "member of a board of directors" on her resume

@roland @imp @villainousfriend she’s only been volunteering for a year and answered “i dont know” to several of the Q&A questions about basic functions of the OTW so — seems fairly probable?

@Satsuma @imp @villainousfriend seems pretty possible that she thought there might not be enough candidates for the election to be meaningfully contested, in which case I can see how she thought there was any chance she could get in—otherwise, it seems obvious to me that she was never going to stand a chance once this got out? unless she thought no one was going to Google her...

@roland @imp @villainousfriend she mentions government work and running for office in her OTW campaign bio which like. if thats your plan at least maybe dont drop a whole bunch of “hey you should google me” flags?????

My guess is she genuinely thinks that people would rather a ““civil”” republican than someone pushing for change. Which is not too far off from her senate race positions either so

@Satsuma yeah that sounds about right. honestly I think the answer is probably just that she's out of touch and didn't think it through which tbf is in line with the qualities of past and current otw board members
