once ao3 is available for scraping again, you can also make use of this technology: https://github.com/thedeadparrot/ao3backup
unsurprisingly, cloudflare protections means that the scraping side of this is broken until i find a workaround, and since my writing has been, uh, slow-going, it hasn't been an issue keeping things up to date lately.
