It's so weird when accessible bathrooms don't have a mirror in them. Do disabled people not get to/have to care what we look like??
Is it because we're only dull and worthy individuals, who never care about looking cute or sexy (or just meeting a bare minimum of professional acceptability, which was my goal today!)?
It's also weird, though sadly even less surprising, when they don't have any hooks or anywhere to put your stuff!
Disabled people often have to carry a lot of stuff around with us. All the time.
I've gotten to be an expert in sliding my cane through the door handle so it won't fall, and then precariously perching my backpack on that so it isn't on the bathroom floor.
