i spend zero time on ao3 and i need to work on that just to figure out how the site works and everything but i find it Overwhelming and hard to find anything i like :blobcatscared:

@ox honestly same. the most helpful thing has been to follow fanfic writers I like on tumblr/dreamwidth and just read what they recommend. looking for worthwhile reading in a specific fandom has mostly not been satisfying for me

maybe this would be helpful? haven't tried it myself yet thelucyverse.tumblr.com/post/6

also @Satsuma knows everything about Ao3 and may be a good resource

Follow

@twistylittlepassages @ox hahaha yes i suppose that is true

what are you looking for?

@Satsuma honestly i think i just have to learn the tags and how to filter, cause i often want to see what has been written about a topic with no particular fandom in mind. or how to tag my fic. so i'm making some progress on figuring that out @twistylittlepassages

@ox @twistylittlepassages general purpose/non fandom specific tags are indeed very handy for that! i’ve paged through a few of them at various points for various reasons

well, feel free to ping me if you ever have questions while looking for/tagging fic :)
