@asya Interesting .. are there other fest's embracing AI tools? Such a big topic in my work right now too.

@pixelcats @asya i haven’t seen any explicitly allowing AI but since Ao3 took a pretty firm stance that they consider AI art to be fanworks ( https://www.transformativeworks.org/ai-and-data-scraping-on-the-archive/ ) I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people take that as the default position for exchanges without rules on the matter
@Satsuma @asya Wow .. "If fans are using AI to generate fanworks, then our current position is that this is also a type of work that is within our mandate to preserve." .. such interesting issues!
