@XanIndigo a magnolia scented oolong! feel like i am still playing around with the temp to get the most from this one but its enjoyable nonetheless
@XanIndigo haha yes but ten degrees is quite a large range! i’m thinking this particular one is happier on the lower end of the scale in terms of bringing out the scent :)

yeah mine is def not that consistent but i still like noticing haha
i do know some people with new kettles which seem to have gotten quite precise if you’re willing to shell out — the trick seems to be heaters which slow down as they’re approaching temp so as to not overshoot. The recent wave of pour-over coffee aficionados seems to have driven the demand for more precise temperature options locally :)
@Satsuma Ooo magnolia. Nice! Oolong is usually good around 80-90°C, but I’m guessing you’ve already tried that!
