A few years ago a bought a tiny rice cooker and never tried it out. Now here we are!

@Satsuma I'm not super interested in making other things than just rice in it. I've seen a bunch of videos that look really cool!
There was a while when we were between houses, that we had nothing but a microwave and a rice cooker - I really leaned into what you could do with a rice cooker.
I'd chuck in the rice, water, some green vegetables, and a couple of sausages ... done! One pot dinner.
I still do stuff like that sometimes. They're pretty flexible ...
@AspiringLuddite @Juju i’m a big fan of one pot dinners! my situation right now is pretty much the reverse — four burner gas stove with a decent oven but about 18 inches of counter space total so basically no room for any kind of appliance whatsoever. Even my bread gets toasted in a pan right now 😂
but that ones small enough that i could find somewhere in our tiny cupboards to tuck it away, and it’d nice to have a cooking option i can walk away from
