request for dating sim recs
I want to introduce a friend to the dating sim genre. what would you recommend that:
- is well written and romantic
- isn't super sexually explicit
- has at least some hetero dating options
- avoids triggery scenarios or makes it clear how the player can avoid them
- is cheap to free

speed dating so both reasonably fast to play and nothing smutty & offers a variety of gender options for the dates (including ‘unspecified’)
blanket cw for discussion of death and dying, but i never ran into anything graphic on the subject and by my memory its clear for the other standard triggers. searching the name turns up listings for ios mobile, steam, & Nintendo store as well as the linked itch listing
but maybe ghosts are too weird for a first try???
