i have noticed some periodic outages, and i think it's due to our current server not being powerful enough to handle the image caching and serving workload. i'll be scaling up for now to see if that handles the issues we're seeing and hopefully that will put us in a good place going forward.

@Satsuma it was more the fact that i'm starting to cache media and proxy them through the server box for url and bandwidth reasons. i have looked at jortage and might try it if things get out of hand in the future!
