@mathew syntax miscommunication it looks like — the square brackets are part of what you’re supposed to be replacing so if you delete them you should be good

as a sidenote, would love reviews from anyone who read anything from https://glitch.cat.family/@Satsuma/tagged/decrecs w/just the info on canon i give in the rec itself — my tolerance for not knowing what the fuck is going on in fic is p high from years of fandoms where canon is too large / incoherent for any one person to reasonably track so i’m curious how well i’ve calibrated for people who are uh, not like that
