She doesn't know about verified accounts, or that separate instances have separate rules. She also says apps aren't in the play store, but I got the Tusky app from somewhere. Maybe F-droid open source app store.

@serenadestrong @Rozzychan ah ok it looks like this video is 5 years old? which may explain some of the irregularities — fedi was a *very* different place when i joined in 2017
