Time to dig into a new game! The first of my Thanksgiving sale games came in: Assassin’s Creed IV & V. I’ve never played an AC game before but I thought it looked fun because of the exploring-adventure part. #amplaying AC: Black Flag where I’m a pirate! (Kinda.)

I’ve made it to Havana and am trying to chase down a thief except I keep getting lost and/or trying to run up dead end walls. 🤷

Other annoying thing: they neglected to put subtitles on the NPC conversations in the video game business office despite having subtitles for everything else so far, including far-off conversations between soldiers and tradesmen.

I’m liking AC Black Flag so far except the Switch screen is just slightly too small— there’s a lot to look at and I’m squinting a lot. Tried docking it onto the TV but the tiny stuff is still tiny and I still end up squinting . I need something about the size of an iPad…

Need to work on NOT just running up on assassination targets and trying to fight my way into completing the contract because I always end up getting murdered myself #amplaying #acbf

Domesticated animals you can pet in Black Flag: dogs, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens.

Animals you can’t pet: cats????

They just twine around your legs and it’s cute, but I want to physically PET THE CATS

taking out my frustrations of being unable to pet cats by attacking every British/Spanish brig I can find #acbf

I unlocked the diving bell a few days ago but actually going INTO the shipwrecks is highly disorienting— also the environments are dark as hell and I can’t see shit & it’s pretty claustrophobic #acbf

AND THERE ARE SHARKS

@tozka i keep interpreting that hashtag as an animal crossing title and going ‘damn nintendo has gotten intense’
