having been forced to use GitHub Copilot a little today: I get it but I don't like it
like I see how this could be helpful to someone who is under a lot of pressure and trying to use something new to them or modify a system they don't have a lot of experience with
but as long as I have the option I would rather not rely on it because I don't feel that I learned anything at all except about Copilot itself. it's like cognitive vendor lock-in

@Lady the employer applies coercion to employees to align their incentives in some ways and cases. "performing job duties to a level acceptable to the employer" is one such case
