ppl love to be like “they made this fire emblem girl into a waifu!” but they also made all the fire emblem boys into husbandos 100%
@Lady@glitch.cat.family porting the second into the first must be quite the shock for the characters in question, i suppose
@kit typically they can’t go in that direction because the serious plots are always incredibly region-specific and aren’t amenable to plucking characters from other nations and time periods
@Lady@glitch.cat.family fair 'nuf. if i was more into fire emblem i would say that i would love to see them find a way to do it at least once, adjustment shock included
@kit yeah i would be into it also; i’m playing Engage right now (which is very unserious) and it would be fun to see some of the better characters isekai’d into a more interesting and serious plot
@Lady I'm often saying this
@coriander need to read up on my bolshevik history so i can write appropriate fan fiction
@Lady Yeah I have a couple histories of the October Revolution on my shelf specifically for research for this
@coriander i’m taking recommendations
@Lady China Mieville's October is an easy, easy recommend
some fire emblem games are about the complexities of war and the difficulty of righteous struggle and some fire emblem games are about cute dweebs bumbling around with swords and when they port characters from the first genre into the second, adjustments are made
