GOD the early Pirates of the Caribbean movies were so good
We don't stan Johnny Depp but it's hard to deny his performance in those first three movies

@coriander johnny depp was going to be the star of hidalgo, but he wanted to be in a more family-friendly movie, so they gave him pirates and cast viggo mortensen for hidalgo instead, and:

@Lady I honestly can't imagine Depp would have been half as good as Viggo was in that movie
