@coriander i think pokémon TCG does okay as a game for schoolchildren playing under house rules but then suffers when you can’t make an international championship tournament out of a game for schoolchildren playing under house rules
@coriander everybody makes fun of the video games for letting you go up against preschoolers with their Lv.5 rattata with your Lv.70 Mewtwo but TCG takes this dynamic and brings it to real life
most people have rattata decks that they play with casually outside their school and then some fucker comes along with a Mewtwo
