You know, I have to admit, I really hate that police procedurals are so evidently copaganda because, like

I really enjoy the basic framework of the genre

Solve a mystery, have character drama, it's good!

Give me one without cops

@coriander Elementary does a pretty good job of this; there are like two good cops but mostly it’s just Sherlock being an anarchist weirdo who works with them because they let him into buildings
