Another video essay I want to make is exploring the role and importance of music As Such in Zelda games
This is what happens when a trained academic decides not to build a career in academia, you get goblins with mental health going "I have a hundred essays half-formed in my brain"
Like, genuinely, the way music exists in that entire series as something to be interacted with and to be used for its mystical abilities is genuinely fascinating to me and I'm not sure anyone else is ever really talking about it
You can find a fucktillion things about the music of the games, how things are composed, instrumentation, etc but like I'm not talking about Zelda's Lullaby, the piece of music that exists in the real world, I'm talking about Zelda's Lullaby, the piece of music that exists in the fiction
