Good morning

On my way to QCC, gonna stop by the Starbucks near Bay station to grab some breakfast

Also now that QCC has a TV, maybe I can get some gaming in while I’m here

heh iOS Calendar is like you should leave now so you can get to $HOME address for work

change of plan buddy

launched the Nintendo Switch eShop

"Must-Play Games

Tears of the Kingdom
Super Mario Bros Wonder
Hogwarts Legacy
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe"

....Hogwarts Legacy? Nintendo pls

even in a world where JK Rowling wasn't a transphobic shitheel, Hogwarts Legacy is still a mid game

the Nintendo Switch seems to charge quite slowly off of the official USB-C power brick

when I arrived and plugged in the switch at 10ish am the battery was at 0%, its 1:40pm now and the battery is at 37%

when I used this at home at the Switch was always on the dock because I never used it handheld so I've never actually seen it charging from 0%

the Switch OS has a feature where you can sync updates for a game with "local users", any of y'all every use this feature? anyone know how it works, wi-fi direct maybe?

"Up to eight Switch consoles can be connected in a wireless ad hoc network for local multiplayer games, and multiple players can play on each of the connected Switch consoles.[139][40][140] In the case of at least one game, Splatoon 2, ten Switch consoles can connect in the ad hoc network, though only eight can play directly while the other two can watch as spectators."

this is what the Wikipedia page says 🤔

yeah but like what protocol is it using for that

Follow

@packetcat it's not possible to do local play and online at the same time, so wifi is a good guess, but i don’t know for certain
