I'm curious: when you're publishing on the web, and you have access to at least partial formatting, do you underline the titles of books as you would in print, or do you use another style of formatting for them?

The reason I ask is that underlines on the web are often parsed by readers as a link - and they might get confused if they see a link they can't click on.

@noelle in situations where i don't have access to italics (which are preferred and the default styling of the CITE element), i have used a wavy underline. never a straight underline though, because yeah, looks like a link
