Solving the issue of playersexual companions vs companions with strict sexualities by making games where you just don't get to fuck your companions

Okay, I'm being snide, but genuinely I don't have a single solid stance, I think both CAN work extremely well depending on what kind of game you're making and what kind of story you're telling

Like, Outer Worlds did a fantastic job telling a story about an ace lesbian that NEVER would've worked if she was playersexual

But also Baldur's Gate 3 very clearly doesn't want anyone to be excluded from their world and story and you CAN'T do that if Shadowheart is a lesbian

Follow

@coriander i think playersexual is western rpg baby steps towards letting players roleplay characters other than the mary sue standin protagonist and they should lean waaayy harder in that direction

@coriander don't make me “influence shadowheart through dialogue options” u cowards just let me roleplay shadowheart and especially roleplay her fucking the shit out of me
